Hello blogging friends...
Hope you had a lovely weekend and managed to get some crafting done.
I'm back today to show you the card I've created for the new challenge over at Anything Goes this fortnight it's...
Buttons, Pearls and Lace
My card features the lovely Drusilla from Tiddly Inks.
I tried to blend the oranges into the yellows, but I'm not sure that I really achieved it. Practice makes perfect so they say, so I shall try again another time, lol. The papers I've used are Prima 'Rondelle'. I'm really loving these Prima papers. They're new to me and I may just have to buy a few more :)
Drusilla has been coloured with copics:-
Skin : E000, E00, E21, E11, R11
Hair : E21, E25, E29
Dress : YR000, YR000, YR02, YR07 Y000, Y11, Y35, Y38
The edges of the image have been distressed with Memento Desert Sand and a small piece of lace added to the right hand side.
The little tag (Doo Hickey Wave) has been finished off with a seam binding ribbon and a clear flower button, which is a bit hard to see in the photo.
Other dies used on the card are DooHickey Dragonflies, Marianne Creatables Garden Branch and Cheery Lynn's Kiwi Doily. The doily punch is so pretty but it never seems to cut properly, even with greaseproof paper.
Hope you can join us for our new challenge. Have a pop on over to the Anything Goes blog for a little inspiration and see what the rest of the team have made.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :-
Bunny Zoe's - Wings
Eureka Stamps - Anything Goes
Tammy's Scrappin' Corner - Anything with Wings
Colour Me Creative - Brunettes
Crafty Calender - Things with Wings
Happy Crafting
Big Hugs,
Janine xx
