Mini Bear ...

Well I'm feeling even older ...My daughter passed her driving test last week! She was so excited. At the moment my car is too big for her to drive and insure, but she's dropping lots of hits about us having a smaller car to share. Lol

I thought I'd mark the occasion by making her a card.

I've based my card on sketch #235 over at Sketch Saturday. The image is yet another LOTV cute image, mind you I think they all are. It's been coloured with copics.

The papers are from Nitwits Cottage Charm collection and the inside has been decorated to match. I've used the TimHoltz Hardware Findings die and the L plate is hand drawn.

Copics.

Silver Wedding...

Hello lovely bloggers....

Hope you've all had a good week and have something nice planned for the weekend.

I can't believe that it's only just over 4 weeks to Christmas. I haven't bought anything yet let alone got organised to send any cards, or make them in the first place come to that. I'm sure everything will come together in the end.

Tonight's card is another wedding anniversary card. First it was my parents 50th and now in a couple of weeks it's my sister's 25th. How time flies...it certainly doesn't seem that long ago.

I've used LOTV's Wedding Couple again. I really must get some more wedding images, but I do love this one it's just so cute.

The photo's not great it makes the colours look more blue than silver. I've coloured the image with copics and distressed the edges of all the papers with weathered wood.
I've used my new Go Kreate dies that I bought at the Harrogate show recently. Can't wait to try them for a shaped card!
The rolled roses were a success this time. Last time I tried I lost count of how many ended up in the bin - then I gave up in frustration.

The inside has been decorated to match the front using Raspberry Road papers from their Always & Forever and appropriately named Mr & Mrs collections. The card is based on the Deconstructed Sketch #78.

MIC Anastasia...

Good afternoon Blogger friends..

Hope you're having a lovely weekend.

Last night we went out for a lovely meal to celebrate my son's 16th Birthday. He loved his basketball card. Last year I never got around to making him a card and I felt sooo bad. So Christmas cards were been put on hold so I could make it. Looks like I will be buying Christmas ones again.

I'm starting to feel old now. Brandon's 16 and 6 ft , Leonie will be 18 in March and Frazer who's 14 realised  yesterday (much to his delight) that he was taller than me!

Today's card is one I've made for my Mum's birthday which is in a few weeks. See I told you no Christmas cards were being made. Lol.

I've  used a gorgeous digi stamp from Make It Crafty. It took me absolutely ages to colour her. I used a great tutorial over at MIC by the super talented Alyce (Kit and Clowder). If you've not paid her blog a visit then you really should - her creations are beautiful and her colouring amazing.
Now my colouring is not on Alyce's level , but I'm really pleased with my first attempt.

So here she is ...

I really enjoyed colouring her. So much that I went and bought some more of their digis.

Here's a close up of her.

I've used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday for my card.
The papers are all distressed with Walnut stain and the image is coloured with copics. I've used my new Tim Holtz 'On the edge Butterflies' die, and also bought the snowflakes one too.

I've also decorated the inside too..
