Hobby House Midway Reminder

Good morning everyone. Hope you had a good week and are enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend especially as it's lovely and sunny.....yay!

I'm back with a midway reminder for The Hobby House and our challenge this month is

to use a new topper

As always the winner will receive a fabulous Hobby House voucher

I've used a lovely image from the 'Quiet Moments' topper, which is a beautiful Elizabeth Bell image.

I'm really pleased with the final card but unfortunately the photos don't do it justice.

The card base has been cut using a Go Kreate XXL Frilly #2 die and was covered with Nitwits 'Thimbles Too' papers.

The majority of the embellishments are all available from The Hobby House :-
Lace, Raspberry flowers, Cotton reel, Flatback pearls, ribbon, Pearl medallion and Bird Cage charm.

The leaf die is Joy crafts 6003/0027 and the rolled flowers are Dienamics Rolled Daisy and Marianne Creatables LR0163.

Here's a closer look at the topper.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :-

Delightful Sketches - Bloom (include a flower)
Scrappers Delight - Bloomin' Lovely
Cards Galore - Include your favourite colour (Pink)

Have a lovely long weekend.

Big Hugs,
Janine x

Hobby House Inspiration

Good morning everyone....

Hope you've had a lovely weekend, I was working most of it, so I haven't had a chance to craft. I'm working today too, so play time will have to wait until tomorrow.

I haven't had a chance to catch up on my blogging but I'm hoping to visit you in the middle of the week.

Today I have a little inspiration from The Hobby House. It's using another of their lovely toppers. So handy when you're pressed for time.

The card base has been cut using a Go Kreate Frilly #10 die and covered with papers from Raspberry Road's Timeless Victorian paper collection.

I've cut cream card out with a variety of dies and edged them with vintage photo.
Dies : DooHickey Events Flag & Dragonflies and Marianne Design Craftables CR1245.

The little sentiment on the flag is from a Whimsy stamp collection called Treasured Moments Tickets. These are available from The Hobby House along with the mulberry roses and cherry blossoms.

Here's a close up of the lovely Hobby House topper. They're just so easy to use and give great results.

I've used a double layer of die cut for the dragonflies and flags to give them a little dimension, you can just about see it from this angle.

Have a lovely weekend.

Happy Crafting.
Big Hugs,

Easter or Spring over at Divas by Design

Good morning everyone...

Hope you're having a lovely day and enjoying the sunshine. It's school holidays and spring is definitely in the air. Unfortunately I no longer get the school holidays off with my new job, but because it's shifts I'll still be able to spend some time with my family :-)

We have a new challenge over at

and this week our challenge is appropriately

Spring or Easter

I've gone for a spring feel using one of The Hobby House's new toppers. I've used 'Emily' from the Little Friends topper by Wee Stamps.

I'm still settling into my new job and have lots of training to do so craft time is sparse. I've been using lots of these lovely toppers, but am really missing my colouring. I signed up for the Kit and Clowder online classes but haven't managed to start yet :-(

Card Ingredients :-

Paper - Raspberry Road Timeless Victorian

Dies - DooHickey So wrapped lovely heart, Vintage Daisies & Heart fence
Cheery Lynn Lace Corner Deco F & English Tea Party Doily
Joy Craft Leaves 6003/0001
La La Land Heart Banner

Brad, Pearls and Lace from The Hobby House

I kept the embellishments fairly plain because I needed to post my card. Shocking how much postage is!

Hope you can join us to be in with a chance of winning a great prize from this weeks sponsors

Remember to pop on over to the challenge blog to see some fab inspiration from my teamies.

Thanks for stopping by and all the lovely comments you leave. It means so much.

Big Hugs,
Janine xx
