Tiddly Inks You and Me

Hi everyone...

Firstly I'd like to say a very warm welcome to all my new followers. Thank you so much for choosing to follow my blog and I hope that you enjoy your visit.

Today I have a card which I made for a swimming coach who's had a big part to play in the swimming successes of both Leonie and Brandon. She recently got married and I really wanted to make her a card to mark the occasion.

I ordered the Tiddly Inks image You and Me a little while ago just for this card, but when I saw Alyce pair it with Alison's arch image recently, it just seemed perfect.

It was only when I was editing these photos that I realised I'd forgotten to add the heart shaped doily I had inked up ready. What a numpty! Never mind, the lady loved her card.

She has kept the one I made for her as a thank you for all her hard work when Brandon moved out of her squad. It's nice to know that people don't just bin them after all our hard work.

One of my friends brings out all the Christmas cards I've made over the years and displays them all every Christmas. Talking of which I really must make a start or I'll never be ready. Even if it is 6 months away!

You and Me has been coloured with copics

Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E11, R21
Suit: W1, W3, W5, W7
Boys Hair: E21, E25, E29
Girls Hair: E11, E13, E15
Dress: C00, C0, C1, C3, Blender
Archway: E00, E11, E15, E18
Flowers: RV91, RV95, RV99, BV00, BV25, BV29

The papers are from Maja Vintage Spring Basics. These are such lovely papers and they also have the cute calenders and tags too. The flowers are a mixture of WOC, Kort and Godt daisies and Rolled flowers (using Memory Box small pinwheel die). All the pearls are from The Hobby House.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:-
